New Vistas in Astronomy - 8 pm - "In Search Of: The Eruptions of Massive Stars" by Christopher Kochanek
This mini-course in astronomy will allow you to learn about the latest discoveries by astronomers and, on a clear night, to observe a variety of celestial objects with the 32-inch Schottland reflecting telescope. This lecture series is geared toward a more adult audience.
