Adult Triathlon (ages 13 and older) - 7:30 am
This "mini" triathlon is a popular endurance test for beginners as well as advanced athletes. The event begins with a 500-meter swim or 10 laps (1 lap is down and back) followed by an 8-mile bike ride and ends with a 3-mile run. The triathlon is open to males and females age 13 and older.

The Columbus Children's Hospital clinic volunteers will be on site offering medical attention to the teddies. Children are invited to bring their special friends for wellness check-ups and more. Some may need an eye patch or stitches, while some may just need band-aids for minor "boo-boos." It's an opportunity for children to learn a little about the healthcare industry and their own annual check-ups. Face-painting and character ambassadors will also be on-hand for children.
