OWU's Department of Music presents "Civil War Reflections"

A multi-media choral presentation conceived and directed by Jason Hiester, assistant professor of music, featuring Ohio Wesleyan's Choral Art Society, Chamber Choir, Women's Ensemble and Men's Ensemble, and Columbus Dance Theatre, as well as projected images, dramatic readings, poetry, historic speeches, dance, and heart-wrenching letters from battle-worn soldiers.

New Vistas in Astronomy - 8:00 pm  - "A Most Agreeable Spectacle: Transits of Venus" by Richard Pogge

This mini-course in astronomy will allow you to learn about the latest discoveries by astronomers and, on a clear night, to observe a variety of celestial objects with the 32-inch Schottland reflecting telescope. This lecture series is geared toward a more adult audience.

Annual Model Train & Railroad Christmas Show - 10:00 am-2:00 pm

Christmas with the Critters - 1:00-4:00 pm

Bring your friends, family and neighbors out to experience this fun-filled afternoon! Come for the face-to-face animal encounters with Ohio Wildlife Center's wild animal ambassadors. There will be games and crafts for the kids, music and snacks. Learn about how Ohio's native "critters" deal with winter weather. Admission is free with a donation of supplies from the OWC's Wish List, including dry and wet dog and cat food, tissues, toilet paper, and dish soap.
