Exploring Archery

Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages interested in learning the basics of archery are encouraged to attend a free class provided by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife on Thursday January 23rd, 2025, from 6pm to 8pm.

Instructors will cover topics including safety, general bow parts, general arrow parts, shooting form and technique and shooting practice at the range. This class will cover the basics of shooting bows safely and effectively. All equipment will be provided, including bows, arrows, and targets.  Participants are asked to bring outside equipment if they would like instruction using their bow if applicable.

Attendees should meet at the Delaware Shooting Range and Education Center at 1110 SR 229, Ashley, OH 43003. There will be an indoor class period and an indoor shooting portion of the course. Please dress accordingly.
