Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages interested in learning the basics of making venison snack sticksare encouraged to attend a free class provided by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife on Thursday January 30th 2025, from 6pm to 8pm.
Instructors will cover topics including safety, general equipment needed, and the techniques involved in making delicious venison snack sticks. This class will cover the basics creating snack sticks safely. All equipment will be provided including, venison, spices, and smokers. Participants are asked to not bring outside equipment or venison. There will be plenty to sample.
Attendees should meet at the Delaware Shooting Range and Education Center at 1110 SR 229, Ashley, OH 43003. There will be an indoor class period and an indoor shooting portion of the course. Please dress accordingly.
