Delaware is alive with the sound of music. The Central Ohio Symphony performs concerts in the distinguished atmosphere of Gray Chapel at Ohio Wesleyan University several times a year. This outstanding symphony orchestra is known for performances of favorite and unusual works. The annual Christmas Concert, performed twice in one day, usually occurs the first Sunday in December. The 4,522 piped Klais Organ, built in Germany for Ohio Wesleyan University, serves as an elegant backdrop for symphony concerts. The free 4th of July concert on the lawn followed by Delaware’s fireworks display has become a popular holiday tradition.
