Walk outside and see if you can smell it in the air. It’s the hint of spring, and it’s not far off. Time to shake off the doldrums of the winter and the pandemic and get back outside.
Delaware County is a great place to do just that, and if you’re a golfer, even better. Delaware County has some of the best golf courses in Central Ohio. Keep an eye on this website and our Facebook page as we will be posting stories highlighting our incredible golf courses over the next few months. The first story posted March 8. That was on the renovation of Little Bear Golf Course, a great little par-3 course in Orange Township. The renovation is expected to be completed in the next few months.
We also have some of the best park space in the area. There’s no better time to enjoy a stroll through our parks than when the trees are starting to turn green. On another note, it’s a great time to get out and explore the many dynamic downtowns in Delaware County. If you like Irish music, the trio, Fialla, will be
performing at the Third Friday event in Powell on March 18, starting at 6 p.m. on the Village Green.
